Paul M. Bielaczyc’s law practice focuses on handling all aspects of civil litigation including insurance bad faith, personal injury, real estate, construction defect, employment, contract performance, public entities, medical malpractice and landlord/tenant matters. Paul earned his Juris Doctorate degree from the Santa Barbara College of Law, where he served as president of the Student Bar Association and a member of the Delta Theta Phi Law Fraternity. He earned his undergraduate Bachelor of Science degree from Western Michigan University.
Before joining Hager & Dowling in 2019, Paul worked as an associate for a Ventura law firm, also focused on civil litigation. Paul brings many years of ADR experience from conducting hundreds of mediations in the central coast area as well as acting as an arbitrator and working as a Judge Pro-tem for Mandatory Settlement Conferences. Paul started his legal career working 14 years in the Santa Barbara satellite office of a Los Angeles based high-volume insurance defense firm, where he successfully tried multiple jury trials to verdict. Paul is a member of the Santa Barbara County Bar and the Ventura County Bar Associations.
Prior to entering the practice of law, Paul worked 15 years as a builder in the Santa Barbara area involved with commercial and residential construction for both new and remodeling projects.
