Natalia Duque
Associate
Natalia Duque joined the firm in 2022. She is licensed to practice law in the State of Georgia, the State of Texas and more recently, the State of California. Prior to joining Hager & Dowling, Natalia spent over a decade litigating complex family law matters, which experience assisted her in successfully transitioning into other complex civil litigation, including insurance bad-faith litigation and personal injury.
Natalia graduated from Emory University School of Law in Atlanta, Georgia, and from the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida, where she obtained her undergraduate degree in Political Science. In 2019, Natalia and her husband returned to Santa Barbara, California, resolved to providing their daughter, Ilona, a life more attuned with nature.
As an attorney who believes strongly in maintaining open communication, Natalia Duque gives her clients undivided attention, makes the law understandable, and keeps her clients informed every step of the way. Poised yet aggressive, Natalia diffuses conflict while applying creative, outside-the-box thinking to obtain favorable settlements for her clients. When negotiation proves fruitless, she is equally effective in the courtroom. Natalia’s intellectual ability and relentless drive for top quality assures clients the highest level of representation.
When not working, Natalia enjoys hiking with her family and dogs, searching for sea glass with her daughter and exploring the Santa Ynez Valley.
